I spent last weekend at an artist retreat with David Feinberg and the gang. We had fun working on patterns and unexpected shading. This weekend is Gamut Gallery's gala event with a circus theme. I am lucky to be represented there with 3 pieces. It's Saturday night 7 to 11, and there is a cover charge. It'll be fun!

I am all the busy preparing for our annual Open House, California Dreamin' on November 14, 15, 16 at the California Building. Save the date. It's the California Building's annual party with art, music, food, textiles, sculpture, and jewelry. Loads of fun!

This - strange - painting was an experiment in black, white, and alizarin crimson, with orange added at the last minute. I call it "The Dancer's Balance." Saturday September 13th is the Open Studios event in the California Building from 11 til 4. Come on up to Studio 504 for art, fun, and candy!
